Begin the session by inviting group members to share a time in their lives when they experienced a fresh start or significant change. This could be a new job, moving to a new city, or a personal transformation. Encourage them to reflect on what prompted the change and how it impacted their lives. This activity will help set the stage for discussing the concept of being "born again" and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture Reading: John 3:1-8

1. Understanding Nicodemus:
   - Discuss who Nicodemus was and why he might have come to Jesus at night. What does this tell us about his character and his search for truth?
   - How does Jesus' statement about being "born again" challenge Nicodemus's understanding of faith and the Kingdom of God?

2. Born of Water and Spirit:
   - Explore the meaning of being "born of water and the Spirit." How do these elements symbolize cleansing and transformation?
   - Read Ezekiel 36:25-27. How does this Old Testament promise relate to Jesus' teaching on being born again?

3. The Role of the Holy Spirit:
   - Discuss the metaphor of the wind in John 3:6-8. How does this illustrate the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives?
   - Reflect on personal experiences where you have felt the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. How did it change you?

Discussion Questions:

- What does being "born again" mean to you personally?
- How do you see the Kingdom of God both as an eternal and earthly reality in your life?
- In what areas of your life do you feel the need for spiritual renewal?

Respond:

1. Seek Spiritual Renewal:
   - Identify one area of your life where you need a fresh start or transformation. Commit to praying for the Holy Spirit's guidance and renewal in that area.

2. Embrace Repentance and Cleansing:
   - Reflect on any "idols" or impurities in your life that need to be cleansed. Spend time in prayer, asking God for forgiveness and a clean heart, as David did in Psalm 51.

3. Chase the Wind:
   - Make a conscious effort to be more attuned to the Holy Spirit's leading in your daily life. Consider setting aside time each day for quiet reflection and listening to God's voice.
